WHO WE ARE

We are the 4th generation of a family dedicated to the production of top-quality coffees and we bring in our luggage over 140 years of history dedicated to the second most appreciated beverage in the world.

 

Coffee growing in the region started with our great-grandparents who migrated from Italy to Espirito Santo in 1880. As soon as they arrived on Brazilian soil they began coffee growing in the Espirito Santo opening paths for the development of coffee growing and culture in the region.

THE FARM

The beans used in Aurea Cafes are produced in “Sitio Floresta”, which is located in the Capixaba Mountains, in the Caxixe Quente Valley, in the country area of Castelo/ ES, whose altitude varies from 700 to 1000 meters.

The farm received its name because of the 40% of magnificent Atlantic Forest fully preserved. In addition to preserving forests, Aurea makes it a point to guarantee that its production process is sustainable by, for example, reusing water used in the processing of grains in the irrigation of crops; reusing coffee residues as fertilizers and using clean energy production, among others.

 

We are obsessed with nature and the coffee it gives us. The combination of exuberant nature and an almost priestly dedication to the production of grains materializes in perfect cups!
